Audra Phillips, Somatic Practitioner
Welcome to Rising Moon Integrative Therapies, where we offer a nurturing and inclusive space for individuals to embark on their healing journey. Our integrative approach combines somatic healing modalities to meet the unique needs of each client. With empathy and understanding, we invite you to be an active participant and approach this work with curiosity. It is an opportunity to deepen your self-awareness, release what no longer serves you, and integrate new tools for being present, embodied, and alive.
What does a session look like?
Each session may look a little different, as we develop tools for embodiment by connecting with self, tracking body sensations, and listening to intuition. We will start with a centering practice, while seated, and discuss your goals for our time together. We may stay seated or move to the bodywork table. If we move to the table, you will stay fully clothed. The integrative bodywork involves gentle touch and dialogue. We will close the session with grounding and integration.
How many sessions are recommended?
It is different for everyone. If you want to receive bodywork to relieve tension and experience relaxation, then one session could work for you. If you have specific intentions of working on embodiment, resolving traumas, or physical symptoms, this generally takes time. We offer a discount for purchasing multiple sessions at once, because we want to encourage people to invest in themselves and the time needed. The number of sessions for this work also depends on the work you have already done. If you are new to somatic work, we will start with embodiment skills and then build from there.
What People Say
"Audra has a true gift for holding space with compassion and calm, making it easy to relax and open up. She is an amazing practitioner who intuitively knows how to support healing on every level. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a deeply nurturing and transformative experience." -Christy
"This work creates space for a person to tune into themselves, by facilitating connection and communication with your body. Tools are provided for naming sensations in your body and naming emotions that are connected to those sensations, building an understanding of what is happening within you, and discovering a want or a need. Tools are provided for processing and integration of what is learned within the sessions. All of this is facilitated verbally and sometimes with physical touch." -Harshita
"Audra provided a safe supportive space for me to be quiet and open to listen to my body. I dropped in and connected with parts of me that I hadn't accessed before. I didn't have an agenda when I arrived. My intention was just to be open and listen. Audra held that space so I could let go and be vulnerable. I am grateful for her guidance and knowing. I keep reflecting back to the awareness I gained and Audra's steady presence, gentle questions and encouragement. I am very grateful to have had the experience." -Diane
